Use Mallory Comp SS 32 series for racing. Billet housing, ball bearing shaft support, large Ford style magnetic 2 wire pickup (plugs right into CD box), male (HEI style) plug wire terminals, screw on cap (rather than clip on), adjustable mechanical advance that can be locked out, etc.
For a Ford 460 the part number is 3256711.
