| 189783 | 10/18/2009 10:33:12 PM | What spark plug should I use condidering the block hugger headers and mild engine modifications. All I know is that they have to be short to fit as the stock R45TS are too long.
Thanks,

| 189285 | 9/30/2009 5:13:59 PM | Can you provide the max temp differences between the two Accel plug wire covers, Pro Sleeve (170071) & Pro Sleeve Wire Guard (170079). |
| 188958 | 9/20/2009 1:42:48 PM | I cannot get the car to idle with the 300+ box hooked up, once the engine drops below 1200 RPM it just dies. the motor runs without the box hooked up so I am sure it is the box. I wired the box using the "GM HEI Magnetic Pick Up (With Ignition Module IN)" set up for the book. Ive set the rev limiter between 5000 and 8000 rpm, as well as turning it off and have not had any success. I have set the spark plug gap at .05 I have tried setting the timing from 8 BTDC to 12BTDC, I usually run this car with at least 14 -18 deg. of initial timing. Thanks |
| 188907 | 9/17/2009 6:46:51 PM | i cant find spark plugs anywhere and the ones that are in the motor are accel 574s and it has an accel distributor as well, can you please point me in the right direction to findin them or do you have them? thanks - Dave |
| 188829 | 9/15/2009 3:35:33 PM | I bought a set of 8 injectors 150132 (summitracing) and need to know the opening latency at different voltages to adjust the 'injector offset to battery voltage' table in my ECU.
Thanks,

| 188700 | 9/10/2009 10:25:49 PM | I'm wondering what coil you recommend to use with the 30100T distributor? The motor was just purchased and is not yet in the car. I just want to make sure I'm using the correct coil with the distributor that is in the motor. |
| 188666 | 9/10/2009 1:26:23 AM | little history just acquired this car from a family member with the engine parted. I was wondering what gap do I use and timing on the energy pak ultra team Old Version (mileage master)...

| 188659 | 9/9/2009 8:01:42 PM | I am restoring a 1967 Camaro and debating on upgrading to an EFI engine. I have an opportunity to purchase a used LS “without” ECM / ECU or wiring harness. I have a laptop and fairly computer literate. . I am interested in your system because I would like the option to tune my own car rather than having an ECM built and having to take the Car into a dealership or shop for tuning and troubleshooting. What ECM / ECU and wiring options do you offer for a GM LS engine 400 to 500 HP? What are the cost, features and ease of installation a... |
| 188587 | 9/8/2009 11:46:47 AM | What is the primary and secondary resistance range for an Accel 8140 coil?

| 188579 | 9/8/2009 9:05:44 AM | I was looking for a set of "Shorty" Header Spark plugs from Accell. The guy at O'reilley had a set he thought would work but your site doesn't show a number. Do you have a set that matches the application? If not, what should I use. I know it requires a speacial factory plug if I use delco. I wanted something better than stock as some times the ones I have foul out. The Shortys were nice as they would be easier to install. I'm just not sure these are the correct ones. Just wanted to check. He's already ordered me a set of plug wires from... |
| 188472 | 9/3/2009 1:21:22 PM | Do you recommend resistor or non-resistor plugs for this application (90% racing, 10% street). Also, heat range (accel plug #) recommended. Currently running NGK UR45.
Thanks,
Steve |
| 188416 | 9/1/2009 6:52:02 PM | I am concerned that the clearance between headers and ignition wires is insufficient, and may impact performance. I currently have NGK B8E S plugs in the engine, per engine builder recommendations. Does Accel offer a shorter plug to improve clearance? If so, what would be the right spark plug for my application? |
| 151409 | 11/16/2006 6:49:04 PM | I have recently replaced my points distributor with one of accels HEI 52100 and replaced my coil with your 140001. The first time I tried this I could not get the distributor to fire. I called your tech dept. and was told that the module could be burned out, so I sent it back and got another one. The second one worked for a few days, but now the distributor nor the coil will fire. I have by-passed the resistor. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Bill |
| 124876 | 8/10/2005 4:45:30 PM | I have a Accel dual point distributor, part #30100 Serial #C26039. Could you tell me what years, make, and engine sizes this distributor fits? Thanks for your time. Rick. |
| 114535 | 2/4/2005 11:37:03 AM | Since I am unable to upgrade my 37 series distributor to an HEI cap, I may upgrade the complete distributor. Would either Accel model #71202E or #59205 be appropriate for drag racing. RPM currently as high as 7500. Why one over the other? Are there any Mallory available for racing? |
| 114389 | 2/1/2005 5:59:13 PM | Are there plans to release a bolt-in replacement to the stock GM Vortec 305 distributor? I stripped the threads in one of the holes of the stock distributor's plastic base that holds the cap on. |
| 114216 | 1/29/2005 11:32:26 AM | Does the 59107C have removable sleeves on the stop pins. Trying to gain more mechanical advance. Sorry, have not taken apart the distributor to inspect.
Thanks, Bill |
| 113821 | 1/23/2005 4:13:59 PM | If I place your new Accel points eliminator kit, do I also need to change the stock (points) coil to a later type (electronic)?

| 113811 | 1/23/2005 10:48:10 AM | I have a chance to purchase an Accel re-manufactured distributor #71201E. Is this an old version of #52201?
How does the 71201E compare to 52201? |
| 112547 | 12/29/2004 12:30:21 PM | How many miles should I go before cleaning the Kool Blue Air Filter? I drive about 90% highway driving and 10% around town. The filter that I use is a KP2842 panel filter. |
