ARCA
www.arcaracing.com
Mallory Ignition has partnered with the ARCA RE/MAX Racing Series to provide specialty ignition systems for all of their participating racers. This ground-breaking technical rule change mandates that all RE/MAX Series teams utilize purpose-built, ARCA-issued Mallory CT PRO Ignition systems designed to limit engine revs to 8800 RPMs, leveling the playing field for the racers by eliminating the advantage of high revving, high maintenance, high cost engines. These systems are serial numbered and issued randomly by ARCA officials, eliminating the issue of in-box traction control, a long-standing concern in this and other series. The Mallory Ignition system will be utilized at all tracks on the 2005 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule with the exception of the two restrictor plate races at Daytona Int’l Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.
Celebrating 50+ years as a sanctioning body, the ARCA Racing Series includes the ReMax Stock Car Series and the Lincoln Welders Truck Series. This highly competitive series is a launching point for seasoned professionals as well as up and coming drivers, with events on a wide variety of speedways and high-speed short tracks.
